Calculator Body Composition Results Help

The Calculator Body Composition Results screen will be displayed when you calculate your body fat percentage. The following calculations will be displayed:

  • Date: date of measurement
  • Body Fat %: the percentage of your body that is fat
  • Desired Body Fat %: the body fat percentage you entered in your user profile
  • Body Fat to Lose: the number of lbs/kgs you need to lose in order to reach your desired body fat percentage
  • Total Weight: your total body weight on the day of measurement, which is your lean body weight plus your body fat weight
  • Lean Body Weight: the amount of your body that is not fat
  • Body Fat: the amount of your body that is fat
  • Goal Weight: the number of lbs/kgs you need to weigh to reach your desired body fat percentage

Changing Goal Body Fat Percentage

You can change the desired body fat percentage and then click on the calculator icon. The goal weight and body fat to lose numbers will be recalculated to reflect the new desired body fat percentage.

The body fat calculator chart is a guide to help you figure out how your body fat calculator percentage compares to other people. But remember, this is only a guide and only you and your doctor can determine your ideal body fat percentage.

Add Your Macronutrients

Recording your macronutrients is a good weight metric to associate with your body composition. All you need to do is enter the amount of carbohydrates, proteins, fats in grams. Next click the 'Calculate Calories and %' calculator button on the right side of the table. The numbers generated from hitting this button will give a person the amount of calories they are consuming for each category and also show them the percentage of calories being consumed for each attribute.
